so i was looking at the boards not too long ago and saw a list of questions that were related to whether or not a religion was a cult that looked like it came from the watchtower.
i've been trying to find those questions again so i could find the watchtower and hopefully one day show this to my wife who is still asleep to the troof of the gb.. .

my c drive is running out of space.
and to my surprise the low disk space problem persists after i free up disk space on my computer.
i uninstalled a lot of programs.i thought that i have free space on my c drive.

everybody buys a tablet.
even the poor families that eat carb heavy meals are gettin' em.. maybe they can't afford the latest apple product like the maxi/mini pad or whatever they're calling it these days so a trip to ebay or overstock.com fills the bill.. use it instead of a songbook.
The WT jw.organization didn't care about mass media for years. they could have marketed their book selling religion by means of television and internet all those years ago and didn't. all this hullabaloo over jw.org and bringing IT to the people in the D2D work is just more distraction. let's make this a special year.let's have a special campaign to coincide with the invisible king ruling an invisible kingdom in celebration of 100 years of nothing happening. Wee!! wee!!__international conventions too. more distraction.

I am embarrassed for jehovah. Gadgets and logos and websites. JW's used to be all 19th century!!

what if the gb decided that "new light" revealed to them that disfellowshipping was wrong and they would do away with it for current dfd members as well...... .......16 years of my life.

Wow. That's a tough one. I doubt they will ever stop shunning. Even if they publicly ( as they do now) say they do not shun, it would be understood.
I used to have friends that moved away( prior to internet) and we would talk only a couple of times a year. We just picked up where we left off without it feeling uncomfortable or awkward. I always knew they loved me and they knew I loved them.
Honestly if my family shunned me for any length of time it would be very difficult to let them back into my life I would not be able to trust them. I would need for them to apologize but doubt that I could pick up where we left off.
well, i have finally got rid of my baptism cards.
the congratulations cards....the wt ones, the ones with sheep on etc.... all gone.
they dated back to 23/09/2000.. has anyone else "purged" their witness past this way?.
Hi quelly. I put most of my cards and letters through the shredder. It felt so good.
Kept my bibles. Even got the new one. Years ago, elderly sis gave me old bound volumes. I threw all of them away. Wish I still had'em. Some from the 1950s. I made sure to shred mags and rip up books so that no one would pull 'em out of the trash. All very cathartic.
